Manifest where YOU want to go
Get crystal clear on your outcome. Not just what you want someone to do, but the bigger picture you’re trying to create when they do it.
- What future am I working to create? Why does this matter now?
- What will be different if we take action and succeed?
- What becomes possible for the customer or the company?
Don’t: Ask for a task. Do: Describe the better world that task unlocks.
Assess where THEY want to go
Anchor your pitch in empathy. Understand what the other person wants so you can connect your idea to their goals and values.
- What is this person trying to achieve or avoid long-term?
- What pressures or risks are they navigating right now?
- What motivates them or sparks their curiosity?
Don’t: Assume you know them. Do: Learn how they define value.
Promote where WE can go TOGETHER
Frame your message as a shared win. Make the connection between your vision and their goals obvious, compelling, and energizing.
- How does this help them get what they want?
- Where does my outcome align with their priorities?
- What language or story will make this feel personal and relevant?
Don’t: Deliver a generic pitch. Do: Personalize the message for each individual.
